The role of the IAAF Academy is to lead, co-ordinate and afford quality control in the development of coaches and advancement of the coaching profession by:
- Delivering products and services that enrich, complement and build upon the CECS, national coaches' programmes and Area Coach Association offerings
- Offering the highest level of international coaching awards
- Providing an important 'voice' for academic aspects of coaching and the coaching profession.
