Loren Seagrave is regarded as one of the most renowned speed and conditioning coaches in the world.  His ever-growing reputation extends into topics of human performance optimization, health and wellness and greater quality and enjoyment of life through lifestyle and eating behavior modification.

He is founder of Velocity Sports Performance, an Atlanta based franchising company.  Velocity Sports Performance teaches young athletes how to be faster and improve their athleticism so they can get off the bench and into the game, have more fun playing sports and learn to develop a life-long love of physical activity and sports.  He is also co-author with Kevin O’Donnell of the SPEED DYNAMICS Training System and Instructional Video Series.  The highly acclaimed video series is used by coaches and athletes in over 100 countries excellence.

Seagrave currently serves as editor of the sprint and hurdle events for the IAAF Level II World Coaching Education Program.  He was also one of the founding fathers of the USATF Coaching Education program in 1983.  In support of the program, he continues to occasionally lecture at Level One Schools.  Seagrave has conducted clinics in over 30 countries and has done extensive work internationally as high performance consultant to Athletics Australia in the preparation of their 1996 Olympic and World Junior Team. He has also worked with the Swiss and German National Athletics Federations in the past decade.  He initiated the institution of an elaborate coaching education system in Thailand, which flourishes today. He coached Thailand’s sprinters and hurdlers to six senior and three junior national records and continues to serve as high performance consultant to the sports organizations in Thailand.

Seagrave has worked with numerous Olympic and World Championship medallists, National and World record holders and collegiate All-Americans.  In 2000 Seagrave co-coached 6 Olympians from 5 different countries including the Silver Medalist in the 200-meters, Pauline Davis.  He also served as Head Olympic Coach for Liberia, recording two national records in the Men’s 4 X 100-meter Relay.  In 1998, Seagrave was sought out to direct the training of 100-meter Olympic Champion and World Record Holder Donovan Bailey.
